I have just replaced the radiator on my MR2 (B**ch of a job) but can't find any information on the mix of coolant to water required to fill it. Can anyone help?

It depends on what coolant you have got, it usually says how much water you need to add on the side of the container. Some coolant comes ready mixed to the correct concentration.

i know it isnt likely the cheapest option but MrT do pre mixed. might be good to just not take any chances and get some of theirs in it.....

Just bought some from MrT - 17.50 for 5litres 'toyota red' - premixed

Thats quite expensive when you consider you need more than twice that for an MR2.

As long as you use ethylene-glycol based coolant you should be fine (wiki).

For Life (pre-mixed) coolant is available from Fensport for £13.00/5litres or you can use the ethylene-glycol based coolant (pre-mixed) from Halfords for around £14.00/5litres...

Avoid the alcohol based coolants. Mixture of alcohol and ethylene-glycol based coolants causes the coolant to turn to a jelly type substance - not good.
