adam i paid £ 499 from rochford tyres for my wheels and tyres , i have had them nearly 2 yrs now and are still brand new , you buy what YOU like good or bad in my opinion.

I think your right. Price of the wheels doesnt always mean they are bad if they are cheap. I paid 699 for my 18s with tyres for my GT (which i think was cheap) and they were great and handled great.

do ya recon them one above would look good on the gt4?

Dont know if i agree with that - i had cheap 17 league bandits on my civic and they were so soft (alloy material) i kerbed :lol: them a few times and chunks fell off , i also split one on a pothole ! I upgraded to oz super t's and they lasted much better , maybe a stronger type of alloy ? better quality?

I reckon you get what you pay for :thumbsup:

they are not meant to be kurbed are they though. even 1000 pound alloys damage when kurbed.

If you are after rims, I'd go for a "good" brand .. look for any makes on F1 cars, rally cars, touring cars.

OZ, BBS, Enkei, Fox (joke!) .. you get the idea.

If it's good enough for Williams, it's good enough for your 205 ;)

(and it does seem the more you spend, the better punishment they take - my BBS's have been on a write-off, and they are fine :) )
