time for a rant :censor:

what the hell has happened to customer service nowadays

heres an example of where it all goes wrong

i bought a very expensive cctv system 4 cameras infra red wireless etc etc

everything goes fine for six months then the receiver starts playing up

no problem got a gauruntee

ring them up very helpful

then i get three months worth of excuses :ffs:

parts to be ordered parts not in stock parts lost in post :censor:

why dont these so called businessmen spend more time actually looking after their customers

than thinking up lame excuses not to do their job

funnily enough the new receiver arrived within seven days of me threatening them with legal action !!

i run my own business and i wouldnt dream of treating customers like fools.

thats a good way of going out of business

my belief is you do the job once to the best of your abilities happy customer money in the bank

rant over time for a beer

Yeah, I know what you mean, the company I work for gets a lot of business through recommendations & people coming back to us because we deal with our customers in the best way we can. It keeps them coming back to us & telling their friends & family about us. Some companies we deal with take the :censor: & eventually we stop giving them work & they lose out. Can it be that difficult to send a part when asked to keep happy customers instead of waiting until the customers have had enough & are unlikely to ever give you business again?

I've always believed in the Golden Rule of "treat others how you yourself wish to be treated"

Its a shame most companies dont adhere to that rule - I'm sure their directors wouldnt like to be treated in the same way their customers are!
