Abs Light

i was wondering...do you guys think it would be possible to attach an led somewhere on the dash that lights up whenever the ABS kicks in?

i'm pretty sure it can be done....anyone here tried it?

any ideas?

i was thinking maybe taking some sort of input from the abs fuse connection...what do u think?

2 good ways to tell your ABS has kicked in:

a ) It sounds like your driving over a rumble bar on the motorway hard shoulder...

b ) You can feel it under your foot!!

Ive had this as a standard feature in previous cars - Ive got to say its distracting. By the time you've noticed the light and then tried to figure out what its saying the ABS has come and gone.

And Blue - mines is on a lot this time of year - frost, wet leaves and deep water mean that its a great feature. And before anyone says - no Im not ragging it - just driving to work in a semi-rural location.

Believe me you will NOT need a light to tell you that your ABS has kicked in :o

You can tell from the noise and a vibrating foot :D

it's not that i can't tell when the abs kicks in....as you all said, it's pretty obvious when it does...i just tought it would be a cool interior mod...and i don't suppose it would be that hard to do either.

and yes....my abs does kick in quite a lot. Here in Malta, the driving is pretty dangerous and quite rough, and demands a lot of sudden barkign and swerving....risky but it keeps you on your toes...definitely more fun driving here than any other country i've been to! :)

i guess the only place worse than malta would have to be india or something... :)
