Hi and Welcome to the Club  !

First things first - you are able to fit a cd player to the car, you can either do this in one or two ways.

The most expensive way would be to go to your nearest Mr T and buy one brand new, however they are quite a popular item on eBay at the mo costing around £140+ (note that there are two different types - one with round buttons and one with square buttons)

Or you could buy you own headunit and then come back to us and ask more questions on how to fit it ;)

Hi There!!

Welcome to TOC!! Hope you enjoy your car and i also hope you enjoy us lot - Semi nuts but always around to help and love a "heated discussion!!""

Plenty of us have fitted our own aftermarket stereos to our Yarii, me included! They are better than the stock Toyota one in most cases, the Toyota one is the easiest option but most expensive!

Get you're own, you know it makes sense, and we'll help you out with the fitting, there's some great "How To" guides written by members on here!! All you need is a little help!! B)

P.S, i know mines nothing to shout home about, but if you do it properly, it can look like this - This is just one fitting option by the way!!

Hello and welcome to TOC

If you go for aftermarket, the guides here are quite easy to follow.

Yep the guide is - Here

It will give you some sort of idea what is involved, overall I guess fitting an aftermarket HU would be cheaper, plus best value for money  !

 thanks everyone....... I think I'll take it to a audio specialist cos i don't have a clue how to do it n the few ppl who have looked at it said it wd b complicated due to the fact my radio n t  e deck are in seperat  and are not together. Cant even tune a video so no chance of fitting a cd player....

Aftermarket would be cheaper... I have a standard Toyota unit and I find the quality just fine, but most people prefer aftermarket ones... the guys on here are really good at helping damsels in distress....

Any q's, never be afraid to ask!

Seriously Cheryl, Don't spend a fortune getting it fitted! If you have a mate who knows anything about car audio or electronics its easy, and with the how-to guides everything is step by step with photos! The whole job took me about an hour!!!

You know where we are if you change you're mind!

Hi Cheryl, as said above by Razor, we both live in Kilmarnock and can get to Glasgow no problems. Razor has got a phase 2 and would probably sell you his Toyota CD player for a reasonable price OR you could buy an aftermarket headunit and I could fit that for you. Let me or my brother know by PM if you like!

Welcome to the club also! :D
