And managed to wire in the lazy eyes as well. And only blew two fuses.

The silicon hoses from virtually anywhere. Demon Tweeks, Fensport, Forge etc. For the straight runs i used 2" copper plumbing pipe.

Ermmm......................................................................................................................................... Brakes. Yeah need brakes. Keeping the rears standard and prob black diamond 12 grooved on the front. Pagid pads. re fill the system with dot 5.1 and that should be that. After that i really don`t know. But driving the ruddy thing`d be good.

LOL, quality!

I know I started doing the brakes and have now stripped all of the bearings out and I am about to pull the drive shaft out to regrease the CV joints and replace the CV boots. I am currently driving the work van and my mates shed (Rover 218 or something). Begining to miss my celica now.

My mate told me that If I took off all the flexi hoses a local supplier would make braided hoses for cheep as chips. Instead of phoning them this mug actually took them all off and took them down to the said supplier to be told "na mate cant help you with that, have you tried a motor factors"

swear words were used I can tell ye,. Dont have the cash for braided flexi pipes from the factors.

The braided hose issue has cropped up in threads in the past. I was thinking of replacing my standard hoses, But after some investigation & some wise words from others I`m not so sure i would actually gain that much. II`ve used them on bikes in the past and they do seem to sharpen up the braking. But are they necessary on a car nowadays??? Modern manufacturing materials have come a long way in the last 20 years. And quite honestly my brake pedal is really good for feel and firmness.(The previous owner had all the hoses All the discs the servo and two calipers replaced in Jan 2004 - 800 quids worth  ) It`s just that i feel the car is woefully underbraked. You can just about invoke the ABS in the dry if youre really brutal with the brakes. So i`m just going with grooved discs at the moment. I don`t know if it`ll be much better but i don`t feel it can be any worse.
