Celica Rear Lights Gen 6

Special Red

Recommended Posts

I was looking at my car last night and thought what do I think will make my baby look better. After nit picking I thought that the rear lights could do with being smoked/Red.

So as you lot have been modding for a while can anyone post any pic's of what they have?!?!

(If anyone has Lexus lights then dont bother as I hate them all!)

I have changed my mind I think all red would look alot better or even half and half but with a more smoke grey than black. Adams look a bit too much like scally tints of the late 90's. Each to there own though so no disrespect intended.

Do you know anyone who sells toyota aftermarket parts???

If your car is red and you spray the lights red, you need to get an exact colour match or it will look naff.

Well you cant buy black or red rear lights. you can only buy late spec rear lights or the afterburner rears for around £300 without bulbs and unsprayed.

So your saying "no-one" makes any other aftermarket clusters for a Gen6, I can believe but think that can't be true, I hope its not.

Do you have any pictures of late spec ones?

As Adam said, there are the "aferburner" ones with the LED circles .. not my cup 'o tea .. but each to their own ..

Theres a 97 R plater near me and that has them. It's belongs to an older women and it looks completely standard so I cant imagine her changing the rear lights.

Mine's also the face lift model but comes with the earlier rear clusters but clear indicators at front etc.

May be an import thing as UK cars will have the fog light included in the cluster (and therefore differnt).
