1999 Rav 4 Dvla Registration

Hi, I bought a 1999 5 door RAV 4 while based in Cyprus, enjoyed it so much that I shipped it back to UK with me. I'm in the process of filling out DVLA paperwork and there is one entry on the V55/5 that I cannot answer. Can anyone search their manuals and tell me the Technical Permissible Maximum Towable Mass of the Trailer both Braked and Unbraked values (kg).

Help would be very much appreciated.

Has anyone been through the DVLA proceedure before?

Hi there!

Yours would be a mark 1 model, so therefore the same as mine. Here's all the weight specs in Kilogrammes:

Gross vehicle mass = 1770

Towing capacity, with brake = 1500 and without brake = 610

Anything else you need to know, just ask!! The towing capacities and general weights should be stamped on a tag underneath the bonnet somewhere if you have a look some time.
