Nurburgring In June

I am trying to tie up a trip to the Nurburgring in June so we can catch a few world cup games also.

We fancy driving all the way there as opposed to getting the ferry

The route seems to be

leave Jockland on Sat 17 June

try to get round the M25 (I can hear you laughing) and get on the channel tunnel on day 1.

stay somewhere in France that night

get to the ring day two vial Belgium and the Netherlands

spend a couple of days there, a few digs at the ring and possibly one of them taxi rides round the ring

cut up to Dortmnd for the next few days and take in Brazil v Japan and Portugal v Mexico on 21 and 22 June, currently applying for the tickets

sonter home. I will be in no rush cause I am off work for the two weeks from 19 June

Anyone else considering going round about then? It's a popular trip no?

There is a MASSIVE Easter trip, so I'm not sure is peeps would wanna do both ..

Yeah was thinking about that but decided to go and add the football games in as a bonus to the trip! Being Scottish and a football fan usually means we dont get any at home... if you know wot I mean

Can't justify the expence at the moment. :( Would love to go in the summer though, it's quieter and a better drive ..

I ment round the track .. the Easter meet is a bit of a carpark at times ..

Must admit this will be my first trip and dont plan to try to break any lap recors while I am there. The football is as much of an attraction at the ring. Plan to take my boy with me and make this our summer holiday.

Leaving the wife and daughter to go their own way, result all round!

Ha I just read the actual words I typed. Almost illegible.

Anyway we cant all like the same things, dont know if I could get the time off at Easter this year.
