Factory Cd Changer

I have a new celica and the cd changer is fitted in the recess in the boot with velcro. this means i have to rip it off the velcro in order to get the cassette out to change cds. i can't believe this would be the factory way of fitting it, it surely must've been done by the dealer??? can anyone advise? cheers
