Grinding Feeling Through Clutch

Got a bit of an odd problem, that I can't work out...

When my clutch is full depressed and I move my steering wheel, every time the wheel is approaching, going over, and slightly past is centre position (and every time the steering wheel is 'straight' when coming up to full lock in both directions), I feel a kind of grinding feeling through the clutch pedal.

It started happening about 4 weeks ago, and the grinding seems to be getting worse, starting earlier and earlier.

My clutch is fine as far as I am aware, nothing feels wrong during normal driving, its only when the clutch is fully depressed...

Any ideas anyone?

Problem fixed! :D

Feel a little foolish though...

My very generic car mats get pushed right up in to the footwell as I am driving. If I don't put them up there to start off with, then the clutch gets caught under them as I am driving - not a nice experience... I hadn't noticed that recently they have been pushed up very high. As I was moving the steering wheel, it was rubing against the mats, which in turn rub against the brake and clutch peddle, hence giving me a grinding feeling.

I can feel slightly better that it took 3 Toyota mechanics 20 minutes to find! Still its a little embarrasing...

I had a similar thing in the focus, except on the accerator pedal. I booted it to overtake, then took my foot off the pedal to drift back in to the left lane and the pedal stayed down. It had hooked onto the mat and wasn't shifting!
