Towing Mirrors

Hi all i am a newby and delighted with my Rav4 d4d 5door can anyone help me with choice of extended caravan towing mirrors and where to get them from. I have been looking on the net and am boggled by the different types would be appreciated

Many thanks for the welcome andy, i think i have found the solution with a suction pad design, didnt fancy anything that would damage the paintwork. They are a bit pricey at £24 each side but i suppose you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

Let me know how you get on with those Brian. I use the type that clip over the mirror with large Rubber band type things,they do the job but vibrate a bit at times.

Will do Andy i pick them up from towsure Sheffield on Saturday and my first caravan also Sheffield same day, then heaven help all those using the a57 Snake pass back to Manchester 1st week of driving the Rav4 1st time towing a van still it should be a good test of my mirrors and nerve!

I have these mirrors for 2 years now and I am very pleased with them. I have the mirrors attached on the car mirrors with long axtension arms and with solid magnetic support arms on the door to prevent vibrations.

Sheffield to Manchester over the snake pass no problem for the complete towing novice what a car! The mirrors work a treat BIG suction pads with a windy thumb screw bit make them solid as a rock and as they are attached to the existing mirrors they adjust with your existing buttons, little vibration over bumps and non on the motorway at 60+ mph my only concern is what happens if you clip them at speed but the same can be said for mirrors in general. £23.95 from towsure expensive but worth it. Well Impressed!
