Hi Guys.. Not new to the site but haven't been here for a while.. since I had celica to rebuild.

I have the chance of a D reg (1986) ? Supra in black (Mmmmm) 3.0 non turbo (unless they hidden it) and I wanted to know about it... for a start, what MK is it ? whats the standard stats for this car, wheres the best place for engine parts ? (it has a little end gone) can you drop the turbo engine straight in ?

i am also looking for a spoiler and rear window wiper motor.. and possibly a full new interior.. any one ?

Hope to have it on the road soon and will post pics

Many Thanks for Advice

Regards

Mark

Hello and Welcome..

Your car is a pre face lift Mkiii Supra ;) A very early one too being on a "D"!

It features the 200 bhp 7M-GTE engine.. best palce for parts are supra owners sites, toyota, and scrappies!!!

Yes a turbo engine will fit! Here is a little guide I wrote - you should be able to re use your early "square" engine mounts if you take the brackets off your existing block.. (the early ones are waaaaay better then the late ones, which break every time and cost £100 plus vat to replace!)

I have a later spec three piece spoiler off my old red face lift car going spare if you are interested!, note that for a wiper motor and arm you will need pre facelift ones as the later ones (mid 89 on) are different!
