Yeah the City Rover was quite cheap, but then, it was a pile of dog doo from all accounts!

Kia Picanto is cheap - Daihatsu Charade - £5,695, Suzuki Alto (expensive in comparison) £5,999

but the piece de resistance.....

Perodua Kelisa....

£4,699!! :o

the manufacturer website is hillarious, and the logo looks like it was nicked from pepsi

this review is the worse i have seen on any car - http://www.verdictoncars.com/jsp/vocmain.j...=Perodua+Kelisa

as for a stereo, in the review it says 'after market stereo' which would sugest to me its not there on all models as its not a perodua stereo

Perodua Kelisa Tested Jan 2006

Quick Summary

Avoid.

It's the cheapest car on sale in Britain - but there's still no reason to be tempted.

Off topic so I apologise but that site looks extremely useful Jay, just had a nose & it seems ideal as another site to consult when looking for a car. Anyway, back on topic...

I swear I saw one of those Kelisa's being driven the other day, the owner needs one of these signs apparently: :help:

What was the car that Clarkson bought and smashed up outside the showroom. Wasn't that a City Rover or Perodua?

yes big respect for that!

That was a City Rover I think.... I dont think Top Gear would even let a Kelisa in the grounds!

But hey, its cheap for a reason!:lol:
