Ebay Ecu 'chip'

I've seen this resistor 'chip' thingy on eBay, does anyone know if it's compatible with Toyota ECUs? ;)

It's a common resistor which costs about 2p in maplins or any electronics store. I have no idea how anyone can claim it increases bhp thats just ridiculous.
