Is It Mp3 Cd Player

I was wondering is the CD player in the 03 Avensis a MP3 Player?

I'm afraid not. Whilst the sound system is very good, it does not play MP3s. :(

There are many threads regarding getting MP3 capability into the Avensis and by using various means and methods so it is possible though.

Oh well I'll have to put some mp3 songs to standered audio cd. I rather not ruin the look of the dashboard.

Exactly the same conclusion I came to! The storage bin in the centre console is just the right size for CD jewel cases. Handy that. Almost like it was meant to be that way!
