Ae92 Hid Conversion

I'm thinking of changing the headlight system of my car. I've seen HID Conversion kits for around £120 on eBay etc.

Anyone have any experience with this? Is there a reall improvement on the lighting quality?

who are they made by, where are they made in,the problem with buget hid lights are the transformer always breaks also the very bad ones can course the hid bulb to blown for no reason and the cost of replcement hid bulb can be anything from 50 pounds each upward,so buying hid convertion light you need to look for quality brand.

have you got the spec for these we can look at ?

yes hid light are big different you will love it ,you see so much more than normal 60 / 100w bulbs. :D :D

I've read that there are 2 types, one is the basic type without any hi/low beam function and the other one does have the hi/low beam but is more costly.

Also, they seem to have a longer base on the plugs so not sure if there is physically enough space to fit them

ok these hid are made in Korea so it "should"be reliable (well better than the one made in china) and the colour temp are 6000k which will be white and not blue , judging by the connctor's this kit are the early type of hid convertion kit which it has been around for about 3 year's,the latest type of hid convertion dont use these connector's anymore but it doesn't mean is bad thing.

price for this whole kit is fair aslong as it works and it will fit your car you do use h4 right ? then it should fit ,i urge you to think about going for the hi and lo beam one as i think are even more useful.

when buying HID kit my friend told me the best one are made in japan then germany then tawian then korea then china hope this help you a little bit :D :D :D

Unity John - yeah I know what your saying, I wanted to spend some dough on my car and always liked the look of Xenon/HID lights so am toying with the idea of getting some :)
