HI

Can't helpwith the ventilation problem but from experience the TV will not be in the PAL format and will need converting, the TV tuner is also likely to need replacing. Having spoke to many people who claim to be able to do this, it is quicker, cheaper and more reliable to replace this unit for a DVD which are available at this link www.tmdmedia.net. However if your air con' goes through this unit you may have another problem to contend with.

Hello,

It's just a thought. I also have a Lucida and the air conditioner for the rear passenger compartment is mounted across the roof just behind the front seats. This unit ONLY pumps out COLD air. If you want hot air in the rear compartment then you need to move the small lever on the left of the dash (the one with Japanese writing under it) to the right. This lever controls the hot air balance between the font and back seats.

The hot air for the rear compartment is blown out through vents in the rear of the two front doors.

Hope this helps

on the centre consul you should have all your heater controls.if you put the part demist and part floor blow button on then press the rear heat button next to a/c the heat will blow out via side vents into the rear

Yep, as said before there is a special button to allow hot air to go to the rear.

As for the TV the best way to get it to work is to buy a cheap £20-30 digital TV box and an Inverter.

Connect the Digibox to the TV input sockets which are behind the drivers seat and use the inverter to power it.

Job done, total cost sub £80
