League Alloys

Hey all!

Well, after buckling my alloys, and a lot of um-ing and ahh-ing, I've decided to go the whole hog, and get a completely new set...

I'm thinking about a set of 9 spoke League Katana's (clicky), but don't know much about League, and the quality of their wheels... Does anyone have any advice to offer?

I loved my old league alloys, I brought a set of League intergalis (or spelt something like that anyway) they were five spoke and champagne coloured. I had them on a clio 16v quite a few years back now. They looked great and performed the same.

They`ll look nice on the 7 League are a pretty reputable maker AFAIK.

I've got 17" League Tantrum alloys on my ST182 and they are superb wheels. As far as I am aware, League have a very good reputation

Yeah i had 17' League Bandits also in an champagne colour on my old civic ! The colour faded really fast , within a few months they were just silver but my mate who bought the car still has them on it (3yrs later) and they still seem to be doing the job Go for it

mate bk173's look identical but buy em this week from potn.co.uk and you get toyo tyres instead of the cheap nastys they put on em

All positive comments, good good! :)

I need to wait and see how much today's repair bill is going to be (N/S Lower link arm change , full geometry check :o , and analysis on wierd grinding feeling through brake and clutch when moving steering wheel at low speed :!Removed!: ), then hopefully wheels should be ordered tonight!

Thanks for pointing that out... I have to say I prefer an odd number of spokes to an even number - the 713's (which is what I presume you meant) are 10 spoke, not 9... POTN are also updating that bit of the site as of last night, so might have missed the offer anyways...

Through a bit of asking around, I've got the quote down to £729 for the League's with Toyo T1-S's on... Not too bad I think!

Gutted... They were discontinued last year, and after having lots of quotes for them, and people saying 'yeah, we can definately get them for you', no-one can actually get them in 17" @ 5x100pcd.

Well pee'd off....
