i am ordering some 17" chrome alloys for my paseo.

will it make a difference whether i order

4x108 et40

or

4x100 et40

as 4x100 et40 is out of stock. they r both 205/40/17

also do u think i should go for the tyre upgrade to high/premium performance?

thanks

Yes, 4 x 108 will not bolt onto your Paseo, so'll you'll have a set of expensive, but useless ornaments.

The 4 means how many wheel bolts are needed, and 100 or 108 is the diameter of the bolting pattern. Paseos are 4 x 100.

The ET40 is the offset and someone who knows about Paseos will advise shortly.

Buy the best tyres you can afford, those and brakes are things you don't scrimp on. Buy Ichiknacker Hedgehunters at your peril.

Don't forget to tell your insurance company as well. Failure to do so may invalidate your insurance.

Get Toyo T1-R's!!!

I love them lots!!! I used to run the budget tyres that came with the car but they were only good for well smoking to get the buggers off my car!!! lol

Think i read in another post so correct me if im wrong :D but aren't you just pluggin' toyos cos your sponsored matt? :P

i was told the paseo is 38 off set??? as the wheels i am getting are 35 or 43. so i was going to get the 35's and spacer them out.

He is, but I'm not and I have the same on mine. He's right they are outstanding

If you use spacers you may want to have longer studs fitted. I've seen cars that have the wheels barely held on with one or two threads of a nut - hardly safe!

Best thing to do is not space them and just get the right fitment, might have to wait a bit longer but believe me it isnt worth the hassle of getting a different size and having to make them fit!!!

Yes i am plugging Toyo but love them and with DazH who isnt raving about them then that shows....TOYO are the way forward!!! lol
