Lowering Avensis

Can anyone recomend a good set of springs, to lower an 2000 Avensis, I dont need ultra stiff as I have done this in the past with a Renault. All I am trying to do is improve the look, (the wheel arches look like bus shelters) I have just put on 17 inch wheels which look subtle.

Many thanks. Daniel.

Liam, are you still on original shocks ?? TTE lowering kit is 25mm using original shocks and a bit pricey.

I've got the TTE ones which came as part of the Toyota 'Dynamic'pack for the avensis. I think they are 30mm drop all round. Coupled with my 17s they do me just fine :)

YEA STILL SAME DAMPERS THEY WERE NEW SO THOUGHT THERE WAS NO POINT CHANGING THEM.THEY WOULD ONLY OF LAID IN THE GARAGE,SO THOUGHT IF THEY DIDNT WORK WOULD JUST GET UPRATED ONES LATE ON WITH NOTHING TO LOOSE.BUT THE RIDE IS FINE AND THE HANDLING IS GREAT.I ALSO PRICED TTE SPRINGS GOT APEX FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE,DIDNT THINK THEY WERE WORTH IT;
