The Great North Run

Is anyone thinking of taking part in this great 1/2 marathon?

I applied today and I will be running for the prostate cancer charity as there is a strong history of this in my family and my uncle is in his last few months from it. I decided after seeing him go down hill so quickly that this is definately a worthy cause.

If anyone else is thinking of this and needs someone to run with or a training partner i say the more the merrier

I'm running the Race for Life again this year for Cancer Research UK - a 1/2 marathon is probably a bit too much for me, but best of luck - I'll sponsor you if you sponsor me!

yeah of course ill sponcer you, 13.1 miles is one hell of a way but i have time to train for it

13.1 miles..... *keels over.... I'd love to... but I dont think I'd make 1 mile... let alone 13 :P..... especially running! (wish I could tho)
