Hi people

Just wondering, i went to start my car earlier after a 10 minute drive, the car had been off for about 10 mins. I started the car and for some reason the revs were fluctuating between 400RPM and 900RPM without me touching the accelerator pedal. I turned the engine off, left it for 2 minutes, turned it back on, and all seems well, nothing wrong, Has anyone else experienced something like this. I know the car is due for an oil change so i will do that this week, i was just wondering if there is something more sinister hiding in the engine. It is a 1995 1.3 16v Sportif, with 75,003 miles on the clock, it had an oil change about 7000 miles ago

Any help appreciated, thanks people

Tim

HEy dude

I've not heard of it doing this between such low revs, but my mates 20v did somethign similar when it was reving up and down between 900 and 1500 RPM it called 'hunting' i think.

It as his power steering in the end, there wasnt enough pressure in the system, bad piping or something, maybe you should check your levels?

cheers,

Kamran
