Modern Day Version Of A Gt4 St205

wasnt sure where to post this but decided here

i was wondering what the modern day equivilant (by this i mean from 2000 onwards) of the celica gt4 gen 6, with features such as 4wd, 255hp (standard), coupe, quite reliable, i personally cant think of anything. closest i came to was the hyundai coupe v6 but thats got less than 180hp and no 4wd. i know u have evo's and scoobys (21b too pricey) etc but they arnt a nice looking coupe... and too common

i am wondering this as once i am out of uni and in a proper job, i can go back to a fast car.

How can that caldina justify a GT four Badge? I know its got the engine but its hardly a wrc car.

the suggestions are all family cars, not sporty coupe's i guess what i assumed is correct, the gt4 205's were the last of its kind

The modern 190bhp celica is no slouch. Its no GT4 either, but you could add an after market supercharger to that engine like lotus have done on a few of their elises/exiges, and have 240bhp perhaps.

No .. like the ST165, 185 and 205 .. toyota made a ST225 called the Caldina.

Looks like an Avensis, and has 4wd (same as a GT4) and a 265bhp 3s-gte engine.

The 190 T-sport Celica is slow as a slow thing. Even a 240bhp SC conversion is slow as it loses so much traction through the front wheels.

caldinas rock, the only toyo to still use the 3S (toyota... you are muppets)

this is Fensports, the ONLY one in the UK as they managed to pull a fast one before import lawas changed, to get one now youll need around 45k :( (or until someone spends 20k having the model report done)
