Hi everyone just to introduce myself, im from ilford essex, I currentley own a R32 GTR and have purchased a toyota corolla gti 16 f reg as a daily car.

I need a new clutch for the corrolla and have seen a few for sale but need to know the engine code. Ive been told it stars with AE. ive checked the engine bay but cannot fond it.

can anyone help?

I believe that the corolla gti, comes with a 1.6l 16v engine, which the code is 4age. there are a lot of variants for these engines, depending on year, if its jdm, fwd or rwd, in yr case fwd i believe. But i think clutches are all the same as they all use the same flywheel.

Thanks for the info vince. Ive just found one on eBay for 45 squids. which is the cheepest so far but thanks for the reply anyways. :)
