Rear Boot Opener

hi

i have snaped my rear boot lid opener off, does anyone know how to fix it back on and still be able to open the boot from the outside?

lemme guess, car wash? if they snap off, they usually are gone for good, need to get a new one...and you can open it by putting the key in the key slot and turning it

no it was my wife, she went to open the boot and she pushed it too far and it clanged and fell to the floor, and she didnt tell me til the night after!

i know how to do the key, i just want to fix it and still be able to open the boot from the key hole!lol

When i bought my car mine was stuck on with double sided tape. So I could only use the remote release from inside the car. Check out the thread I started on this:

A new badge/lock would be needed. Very easy to fit though.

i was hoping i could fix it, but might just not use it atall!
