Hey i have got a st185 group A gt-4 and i was just wondering what makes it special and how did toyota achieve the 25 exta horses over the standard gt4.

i was also wondering what a save boost level is with everything still stock and i would appreciate any performance tips you guys could give me about the car

It looks like the difference is that the 185 and 185CS are UK models at 202bhp designed for 95ron, and the V, the A, and the R are imports designed for 100ron and develop about 222bhp. The actual rally car was set up with 295bhp at 5700rpm.

What are you after? Budget boost increase or improved throttle response?

You can do everything from a boost guage, G-valve and FCD (about £100 - $300) to give you a load more BHP. through to a compleate rebuilt engine, forged pistons and a T88 turbo and 800+ bhp ..
