Hiya,

When I bought my GT4 the guy mentioned it needed a new rear centre bush, Im assuming this is the one at the back of the diff?

The symptoms are a thump noise from the back of the if you accellerate hard then ease off, and when changing gear.

Can anyone supply a clear picture showing the location of the bushes/rear centre diff mount?

And any idea of cost/part number?

Cheers,

Lawrence

not got a part no or piccy. if you look up at the back of the diff you will see a bus held on to the diff by two bolts.. thats the rear diff mount. they arnt too difficut to do. if you have a ramp your looking at about 15-20mins max.

uprated (solid diff mount) there is a few differing opinions as to whether this is a good idea or not but i've had no problems in over a years use. also the poly busshes are for the axle.

the price of a standard diff mount has dropped recently, try TCB(one of the sticky's at the top of the forum), they were cheapest but i only found that out after buying the uprated one, like i said i've had no problems but people have reported hearing more road noise
