Damaged Yaris :o(

Washed my car today after going far too long without doing it, only to reveal a dent at the passengers wheel arch & 2 bad stone chips in the bonnet. :crybaby:

The dent at the arch is about 5 inches above the side skirt. It isn't too bad, only 2 fairly smallish dents but the paints been scratched. Any ideas of the cost of getting it fixed? Its difficult to explain without pics (ive got them on my phone, just cant seem to transfer them to the pc) but the dent starts where the bodywork flattens out at the arch of the wheel.

Also, how easy is it to repair the stone chips on the bonnet?

depending on how bad the stone chips are, certain companies will be able to repair to almost like new, unsure of costs tho

Get one of them chips company they are really good, did some work on my car when i had the bump strips taken away, cost £100 to spray most of the bumper so wont cost that much, as for scratch they have some super polish that gets out even deep ones

My car goes to the worst place you could probably park a car - A hospital  !

The staff even have there own car park, and as you can guess the majority that use the car park are female and have old bangers and don't give a :censor: if they clip your car. There always in a hurry and can't be bothered to changed gear and reverse to make that little bit of room just to make sure that they wont hit your car.

I have a dent on my roof :ffs:  , a cracked rear light, a dent on the lower half of the rear bumper, and just recently added a nice 2" scrape on the lower bumper which isn't a scratch but has removed the paint from the plastic bumper.

I can't understand how people can clip it in the car park as it's not a big car like a 4x4 and easily fit's into a car park space with room.

Im just glad so far that there are no marks down the side of the car. I promise myself I'll get my car sorted dent/scratch wise before the summer.

Overall im not very happy but i've got to live with it :(

If they are very small you could get some touch up paint from Toyota and just fill them in very carefully with the wand....

My wing mirrors got scratched very slightly by the postman, and thats a touch up job and it doesnt look too bad even if I do say so myself!

I used ChipsAway http://www.chipsaway.co.uk for my stuff.. its a franchise thing, and my local guy was top :)... they will come out to your car and assess the damage and tell you if they can repair etc.. they do dents as well as chips... either by pulling the dent out, or by filling it and painting it...

Its not usually overly expensive, however I will warn you, I had a nasty stone chip on my previous car's bonnet, he managed to fill it, and get it looking ok... but he had said he wouldnt get it perfect...

But yeah.. might as well give them a ring... free quote... then see where you stand

As some other members saw on Sunday at Toyota HQ the Passenger side door of my Yaris Blue has a big-ish door dent from some inconsiderate person opening their door into it, if you get a quote for yours can you let me know what the price is to sort it?

supermarket carparks are more worst. Last week I watched a lady bang a trolly into my car. Her excuse was that she thought she banged her own car
