The best place to buy parts is over the counter from motor factors.

They will have listings re the version of the water pump you need. Copy parts are just as good as the originals in my experience. The dealer I use in Stockton stocks Motoquip which is the main supplier to peugeot. They make parts for other car manufacturers as well.

give one of them a ring.

Thanks I will try the list, here is my progress so far:

Toyota

Water Pump £65

Head Gasket Set £100

Nippon auto spares

Water Pump (mine is the SEM type, the other is ASI) £50

Head Gasket Set £80

Delivery £15

SMC - locally

Water Pump £38

Head Gasket Set £68

eBay!

Water Pump £40 incl. del. but checking if its the right one

I will buy the parts during the week so please keep advising.

If your planning all that work you may want to consider replacing the Timing Belt at the same time. The extra labour cost would be relatively minimal.

I will look out for the Blue Print brand

Yes forgot to mention the timing belt is up for replacement too, well worth it while the head comes off!

I am going for the eBay water pump that comes with the rear fixture too. As for the other parts I will probably go for SMC and buy at the end of the week :) .

Nippon automotive are the best for a head gasket set £66 including vat and delivery, their past quote was wrong i guess!?!

SMC were a poor service they didnt have stock as they said, and they seem confused about what parts they have got!
