Which Seats

Hey all. Been looking at seats to replace the tatty old thing in the 4. I think i`ve narrowed it down to a choice of three.

1 Cobra Imola 2

2 Corbeau Pro Series

3 Cobra Suzuka

They`re all around the same price. All side mounted and all either glass fibre or kevlar. Weights between 7 and 10KG

Has anyone experience of any of them or heard nasty rumours? All feedback would be appreciated.

I had a set of Corbeau Pro in my Mr2 and they were very good and comfortable and i would have another set in my Hilux if i got more into my offroading

no experience of any of these, but I'd go for the Corbeau seats. By far the best looking ones.

Yep. The konig`s are nice seats, and i had considered them,. But the only one in my price range (CP700) is bottom mounted, tubular steel and not FIA approved AFAIK. :(

I'd go somewhere and sit in them mate as some are not as wide as others even in the largest size, nowt worse than paying out to find you can't get in them.

Why do you need FIA approved btw?

I dont need FIA approved seats it just seems a good idea. But i definately need side mounted to get the things as low as possible. Know what your saying about width. Cos i`m not exactly small framed The trouble with living over here is it costs an arm and a leg to get anywhere to try anything. I could always go down the local cruise and pretend i like there saxo`s n festers i suppose. Coo nice neons mate, gissa sit.

I know you get on the 27 a fair bit so come off at jct 7 and go to Halfords at Hedge End, they have corbeau's and cobra's for you to sit in and try so you'll get an idea of size and you won't have spent more than 10 mins finding out

The size issue is a good point was at the local import centre and i got stuck in a bucket seat! Wasnt pretty getting out, i had to roll out sideways onto the forecourt!
