Wheres The "theft Deterrent Ecu"?

91-92 MR2. Have got a workshop guide that was kindly emailed to me and it lists the theft deterrent ecu but i cant find it, the drawings abit miss-leadin i think

Anyone?

I've never even heard of a theft deterrent ECU, could it just be the standard immobilser system ?

Neil - sorry, forgot to mention, the workshop guide is for the USA car, with left hand drive. It would be my guess that everything is reversed. Try looking on the other side mate . Also looking at the diagram of the alarm system, I reckon if you bypass the part where the ECU wires into the Starter relay, it should work ok.

I think it is the standard system, just the manual's name for it.
