anyone willing to tackle at my mess of a loom lol expect not how much do you rekon it would cost for an electrician to do it all

start from scratch, ive ripped out the std system completey, including the wires

then its rather simple

1 +12v constant live feed (can come from the Battery MAKE SURE its fused

1 ground connection

1 +12v ignition live (only live when key is in and on)

2 for the electric aerial sense (its an odd setup, let me know if your stuck)

1 wire to tell any amps to switch on, if need be (run separate)

speaker wires, again start from scratch, bypass the crappy standard loom and get some good quality O2 free cable in, no point having a good Head and Speakers then linked up with shoddy bell wire, hardest bit here is getting it trough the door grommits :!Removed!:

and then any others such as screen dimmers etc etc.....

not really a hard job, should only take a day to do it spot on

if you were a little closer id help you out :)

sounds like such a huge job and i know i will ruin something and end up making it worse i dont really want to tackle at that to be honest if i had some help i would as i would know what i was doing...

anybody live near my area who knows about this could give me a hand or when is there a next meet ill bring it along and tools and sort it hen

its just so frustrating atm with the loom being so buggered.

can you get a good shot of the remaining loom?

if your ok with a set of crimp pliers you should do it fine mate

if you really unconfident though then i suggest going to an auto electrician

like jaxx say if your not really confident at doing this type of things i would take it to an electricion. I do this type of thing for a living,some of the attempts are shoddy lol, it sounds as like alot of work but it not really if you work at it, your proberly about 2 to 3 hour job if that make sure you got all your stuff and just do it

20-30 quid

tell them to get your headunit in, the rest you should be able to do yourself

but if you dont fancy that either then take it to an ICE shop, may cost you around 100quid to have it all done

flippin heck!

the large choc block has got all the speaker wire connections to it, whatever they are connecting are wrong so remove them, and leave that for now (im right in thinking all Speakers to be powered by amps?)

bottom picture... bottom side

black = ground - make a flylead to a metal part of the dash

yellow = +12v

red = ACC +12v

orange = dimmer (needs a sense from the instrument panel lights)

blue = amp remote/aerial sense

thats for the alpine loom

the upper side to the car... needs relating to the cars loom, im on it ;)
