Its a club member's car. Not seen it, but looks like a stunning example of a Gen6, at an absolutely stunning price now! Will be worth every penny, plus the train ticket to go see it!

Try the trader mate. I looked under my postcode and came up with a few decent ones.

Yeah i'm looking everywhere but can't find a good one in the budget, problem is i have 1700 cash and i have a part ex worth about 1500, so its either a private for 1700 or with a trade in for 3200.

would it be worth getting an import for hat much or should i hold out for a good uk version?

Thanks again guys

Right this car cost me £2100(UK Car) last month so what I would do is sell you present car and then buy one privately. Buying from a garage is not worth it, for example there is a R-reg (Jap) GT Auto near me for £3595 with 60,000 miles and Part Service History, but its tatty and to be honest you could get the same example for about £1000 - £1500 cheaper buying private. Some people think I got a good deal but to be honest around £2300 gets a good one around here (it must be something to do with Southerners being ripped off) its just a matter of waiting for THE ONE. If i see any worth buying I will let you know, where are you?. One more thing watch out for those tempting £1700 ones as there going to cost you in the long run!

My problem is that i know my current car is very difficult to sell private, cos its not worth much, and secondly i have to have a car cos i travel to work 10 miles each way, and need to drop the mrs off. so i can't really sell the car before i get another. i have seen a decent one down near Heathrow, he's got it up for 3295 its an M plate but its got 65000 on the clock, don't know if its actually worth travelling all that way for the car.

ps i'm from manchester

Thanks, Again

I know your from manchester you tool! :D Where abouts in Manchester?

How about getting the train or bus as it will be worth it in the long run! Dont even go and look at one that expensive. What about a £1000 loan as by the time you have to pay it back you should have sold your other car and can pay it off!

Lord - I like your house looks very nice

Special Red,

I'm in a little place called chadderton, near Oldham might have to go speak to Lord Ed about his car cos it does look very nice, although i m not one for putting things together. Don't want to take another loan out, cos looking to buy the mrs a car, which will be on a loan.

Lord Ed, when you say the car is stripped down, how stripped down do you mean? is it like all the carpets and seats or is it more than that?

Ed's car has the seats/carpets removed .. wouldn't take too long to put them back ..

It's a nice motor, just can't believe how cheap they are now ..

Cheers Bibbs,

Erm if i were to go all the way to reading, how would i drive it back without a seat? oh and i think he said it needs an mot and Road tax, is that right?

He had no passenger seat and no rear seats (the drivers was still there). All the insides are in his spare room.

If you gave him advance warning, he'd phone people like me, Leeky, Alan etc to pop over and put the insides back together (there seems to be a few stripped cars in the Reading crew).

I *think* it does need TAX & MOT .. should pass very easy as there is nothing wrong with it.

If you schedule in an MOT test you can legally drive it to the testing place (and then you need to drive it home after and tax it).

Cool cool. it sounds like a good car, how would i get in touch with Lord Ed?

Drop him a PM ..

Or drop me one with your mobile number. He lives in the countryside so his mobile doesn't work until he's in town  , but I will call his land line for you and get him to call you.
