HELLO GUYS AND GALS!

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO WORK OUT MPG?

I'M ONLY DOING 300 MILES TO A FULL TANK (£40) NORMAL TOWN DRIVING UNDER 3000RPM,

I'M SURE MY MR2 REV3 I HAD DID MORE MILES FOR THE PENNY'S AND SHE HAD 173BHP!

I'VE READ A PREVIOUS LINK ABOUT A LEAKY FUEL TANK BUT MY CAR SLEEPS SAFELY IN A LOCKED GARAGE AND THE FLOOR IS AWAYS BONE DRY (AND SPARKLY CLEAN), ANYONE GOT THE SAME ENGINE AND GETTING SIMILAR MPG?

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

When you next fill up reset your trip.

When you you fill up for the second time, take a note of miles on the trip and the litres of fuel you've put in.

Divide the number of litres by 4.546 to give you the number of gallons. Then divide the milage by the number of gallons to give you your mpg.

Ps.... Please press the caps lock once so you don't type everything in capitals..... it makes it very hard to read....

A petrol leak wouldn't be that noticable anyway other than the fuel going somewhere. It evaporates quickly, so doesn't really leave any drips.
