my first post, so hello to everyone. my question is does anybody use BFG all terrain tyres on their RAVs, 225/70/16 or 215/70/16. if so whats it like on and off road

Had them on the frt of my old rav

Looked the business but anything over 30 mph and they hummed like buggery

sounded like the gearbox was about to explode

Got fed up in the end and took them off, Fitted Pirelli scorpian they still looked good but no noise

I have Goodyear Wranglers on mine and they make a hell of a noise so I'd imagine these would be the same if not worse.

Hi there - Not a direct answer I know, but I'm using General Grabber AT2's - 215/70 - 16. Slightly more hum than the original road biased tyres, but easy to live with. Good in the rain, snow and mud. They Look reasonable too....
