Scottish And Northern Meet?

Hi all, just gauging interest really, Who would be up for this? looking to do it soonish, kick start the meets with a cracker somewhere down south, then later in the year the Northerners could come up to sunny scotland, show them Loch lomond and a BBQ!!!

I'll be lazy and just copy this in the Northern section to see how they feel about it.

Loch Lomond is stunning, but would need to prolly do it as a weekend (overnight stay), cos its a bit of a treck for me

You said down south first, is that a one day or a two day event. I heard the travel lodge push a nine pound 99p sleep over night on local radio. Dont know whan this promo date is though might be worth wile trying to look up. If we know the shape fo the thing you are proposing then I would be better able to lan. I said that I was aiming to get to more meets so......

Supersave. the promo from tarvel lodge is one night accommodation for £10. It has to be booked at least 21 nights in advance and is non refundable. There are three hotels in the Manchester area offering this in Friday 10 March. Does not look like they offer this on the Saturday.

I'd have to stay over somwhere if we did a scottish one though, its not the kind of journey you want to do twice in a day!!! Scope for a night out me thinks!!

If neither of us are working.. would be up for it.. but not an over nighter for us though.

Should be able to put some of you Englanders up for a night if you don't mind the couch or floor (just bring a sleeping bag)
