i bought the car knowing that the turbo wasn't working..

i thought it might just be a loose connection seomewhere, so i checked it all.

when i checked through everythin and found nothin, i took off the turbo and this is what i found.. no shaft or blades...the exhaust housing is knarled from where the shaft and blades have been spinning and gouged out bits and broken up.. so i guess it must have gone out of the exhaust.. unleeeeeeeees the guy i bought it off knew there was no blades in it, cos he removed them i dunno..

new turbo will be here tomorrow.

Anti-lag keeps the turbo spining so off the line you have boost straight away :)

But it's well know for killing turbos

it'll need an aftermarket ecu etc ..

instead of igniting the fuel in the cylinder, it does it in the exhaust keeping the turbo spinning. After 100 miles all the blades will be stuck in the cat ..
