How good is the quality and volume of the Aygo + Stereo System because I need to plan whether to get new Speakers for the Aygo I will be buying in a month or so.

Already got a subwoofer for the system but will I be able to keep the same headunit in your opinion? (Don't wanna ruin the look of the dash by putting a single din headunit in.)

Also does anyone know the stud diameter because I might buy some alloys and also need to plan that.

Thanks Alex

i have the sport and Speakers are really good, better then i tought, obviously its no bang and olfusen sound system, but it does the job, you have to turn it really loud when you plug an ipod in though even if the volume on the ipod is high, but thats just life. i have no idea about changing the head, i know you can get adapters for it to fit obviously, but tbh your just going to have to expierement with it to see if a new head unit makes a difference. just out of interest where are you putting the sub?

I've got an Aygo sport ( with the 6 speakers) and although it sounds ok its not exactly a "booming" stereo system. When I bought my car my intention was to put my own car radio in using a blanking plate but having picked up the car decided that it would change the dash of the car too much ( as the radio is very much a part of the dash) so have settled with the existing radio.

It's got a nice clean sound but would probably sound much better with a sub woofer which I have yet to investigate fitting. Also the back Speakers in my car are not as good as the front ones.

Maybe Toyota could think about upgrading the speaker system to include a sub espceially as its geared towards the younger end of the market.

€360 is just way to much.

Alpine do a similar sort of compact sub for alot less more like £100 that should be suitable.

Nah i agree about it changing the dash too much. I as going to try and use the outputs for the official Aygo subwoofer on the original headunit because putting in an aftermarket headunit would ruin the looks. And i will be putting my sub in the boot. I have one of these http://www.fliaudio.com/images/large/trapactive.jpg so it saves space not having a separate amp. But i am going to change it soon and do it all properly and change all the Speakers in the car then amp it all up because i think the perfect place for amps and cd changers would be under the seats.
