Hello,

Just bought an 04 corrolla t sport with 10k on the clock absolutley love it, its in metallic black but have notice it did not come with aluminium pedals or automatic rain sensor wipers. I test drove another 04 at the local dealership but the car has these two.

Are these options extras when buying the car new ?

Also, i noticed they changed the car model in the year 2004 is mine the old type ie march 2004 if so what did they change on the model ?

Any expert advice would be appreciated

Well by the sound of it your's is the pre-facelift model. The face-lift came out in Sept '04 and had the following on top of the previous model:

New style front headlamps & rear tail lights

Unique T Sport front bumper

Full length side skirts

Facelift rear bumper with corner 'caps'

Unique T Sport white dials

Red dash lighting (as opposed to red clocks only and green dash lights)

Red-centered seats or leather & alcantara option (as opposed to full leather option on pre-facelift)

Alloy pedals

Carbon effect centre dash trim (instead of silver as per the T Spirit)

Red-stitched leather steering wheel

Front & rear strut brace

T Sport logo'd kick plates

20mm lower suspension & rebound springs

Auto wipers standard on the facelift model (and may have been an option previously, but I'm not sure)

There may be more but that's all as far as I'm aware Look in My Garage to see how mine compares to yours to get the best idea of old vs new.

reading that lot i sometimes wish id waited and found a facelift model but i love my car !
