hi all

I was wondering what the round about value of my ST182 is

heres a brief description

bright red 1990(G) though it as a £800 private plate ideal for anyone who lives on the island (IW) in it.

it as done 177K with service history to 150k doen't burn any oil or any strange noises

the car is standard and i have all MOT's from new.

it's MOT'd till july 06 taxed till march 06 though i will put six months on it.

bad bits slight dent on N/S rear quater panel under bumpstrip though not noticable.

couple of rust spots round rear window.

in few places ie. round door edges, you can see white primer coming through though not bad and steering wheel is abit worn in places.

Considering the mileage and condition, I would guess about £800

yeah, the mileage will make it worth only what someones willing to pay...

probably needs advertising at £750 ono to get anyone calling..

Mine's almost the same as your's except - it's a '91 and has 85k miles, and possibly slightly better overall condition. Realistically, I doubt I could get more than £1000 for it, maybe 1200 if I waited for the right buyer. And to me it's worth more than what I could sell it for. My mum paid £12.5k when she bought it in 1995 with 12k miles. I think gordypix gave up trying to sell his gen 5 as it was just worth more to him too keep it.

Sell the private plate separately - no one looking for a sub £1000 car is likely to want to pay market rate for the number plate on top.
