Where Is The T-sport Made?

Never said it wasn't. Just posting the way of telling where it was built. Don't specifically know whether it's complete Japan build, whether it's built with parts shipped from Japan (like the engine) or whether it's a complete build in France from component parts

Have a look at the VIN.

If it starts with a J it's built in Japan.

Think it starts with a V if it's French Built

wt is the vin?

Aygo is made in a PSA-Toyota factory locatede in the Czech Republic. The Aygo is exactley the same car mechnically as the Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107. It's just styling and options which differ. They were designed to be a cheap car... and to make them cheaper, they are all built in the same place. Toyota provide the engines (The 1.0 petrol anyway... the diesels are independent to each marque) and mechanicals (suspension, brakes), Citroen provide the cheap parts (seats, dash, parcel shelf etc) and Peugeot provide bodywork. Then it's assembled in the same place... nice and cheap. Yet strangley they're all too expensive!!

The Yaris is now made in France and has been since 2003 when the facelift came out.

Some T-Sports are made in France for no apparant reason, yet 99% are made in Japan as this is where most of the other Yaris/Echo/Vitz are made and they use the 1.5 engine. Since the T-Sport uses the 1.5 engine and the uprated suspension that the others do (mainly for Australian and American markets) it makes sense to make it there, rather than ship parts all over the world to be assmebled elsewhere.

In business, everything is ruled by money and costs. That's why the Yaris doesn't come with all the nice parts that we put on our cars as standard!
