Anyone know the what size of Speakers the doors take? I'm guessing that the ones on the shelf are 6-6 1/2 inch ones but not sure about the front, how restricted am I for fitting new 'uns? :huh:

i think they are 5" mate in the front im lookin at doin a bit of work to get 6.5" componants in the front. i think Chris-paseo alraedy has it done

yeah think there bout 5in cant remember what size i replaced mine with! will find out and let you know!

You use the original covers with then?

yeah 10cm ones will fit straight in but if you want to use the original covers check the depth of the speaker as they may stick out to far and then the cover will not fit back on properly. Not shore what you can fit in the doors with moddifications though.

Yeah you can use the original covers with them no probs. They look quite good - you can see the yellow cones through the grilles. Would look good on your Galliano. You can get 17cm components of the same speaker and these would be good as replacements for the rear Speakers if you want to change them. Keep the same sound stage (and colour).

PS saw your car driving in Linlithgow high st this morning (wed) a couple of minutes before 8.00am. Looks amazing. Really stands out on a dull drizzly morning :thumbsup:

heh heh, cool. it was clarty though, even though it got a good clean on sunday. nearly as bad to keep clean as white. :blink:
