Paint Touch Up

does anyone know the best way of touching up rust marks, paint scratches and small dents on the bodywork, apart from getting expensive blow backs and re-sprays done. also whats the best way off removing the cheesey gold stripe down the side without removing paint.

any suggestions be appreciated

What i have done in the past with other vehicles that have had rust spots is very lightly rub down the area and put some red oxide paint on the rust area wait to dry and wet rub smooth and then put your touch up paint on.

As for the removal of decals it really depends on a few variables 1 how long they have been on and 2 what adhesive was used to fix them.

You could try warming up the decal with a hairdryer and see if you can slowly peal it off and then use some petrol on a rag to remove the residue left by the glue.

As for small dents there is only one way to get rid of them and thats with some P38 filler and rub down and paint.
