Help Needed In Replacing Door Handle

I currently have a broken door handle. I have found out where to get a replacement but prior to tackling the job myself is there anything I need to be aware of or problem areas that anyone can give me .

Fairly easy job to do - remove the door card(trim panel) and the polythene water barrier.

There is one door lock link rod to take off the back of the handle and two nuts which hold the handle

to the door skin.
