Screwy Immobilisers

Went to roll out for work last night and my immobiliser decided to NOT work.

Lucky I grabbed a lift there & back and this morning stuck a plastic biro lid in to the receiver in the dash to pop out the contacts again. They now keep getting stuck so gonna have to see about a replacement........ :ffs: :ffs: :ffs:

Lucky it's a nice day or I might be in a bad mood........ B) B) B)

So you can turn you immobiliser off with the lid of a 28p pen! <_< :eek:

Sound really secure to me! :blink:

what alarm/immobiliser is it??

Oops, maybe that didn't sound correct then..... :unsure:

I meant - the metal contacts in the receiver on the dashboard got stuck in so used the biro to pop them back out so the immobiliser key could then make contact with them.
