Hehe!

Well, i was a tad depressed that my car has !Removed! exhaust mounts and wouldn't allow fitment of any mainstream exhausts (Envy, HKS, Fuji etc) so.... I went custom!!

Firstly... Jesus H Chrikey!! It's louder than you can possibly imagine! (Except for a select few!) and it sounds like a rally car nestling in the tail-pipes of a TVR! Really deep at low revs like the HKS, but once past 2500/3000 it turns into a rippingly loud rasp like the Fuji, then pops and bangs into the next gear!

It also pops when lifting off... belting!

You may have guessed im happy with the sound! The look of it is great too... nice big can with 4" straight cut that's a cross between fuji and HKS in that it's smoothed on the welds (hard to explain... pics will come soon!) Then of course custom made pipework and mounts, all in nice shiny stainless steel!

Im a happy boy again, although everybody within a mile can hear me coming and the girlfriend hasn't seen/heard it yet and she thought the TTE was loud enough! hehehehe!!

Oh, did another little mod too... got some custom plates made up with a red border, Toyota on left and TTE logo in bottom right (iv still got the spoiler!) Front one is little too!!

The TTE exhaust is now up for grabs... it was reserved for another member who no longer requires it... so PM me if you're interested, il try to answer as quickly as possible, but iv got a busy weekend ahead and most of it will be spent drinking!!

How is it on the motorway mate? My brother used to have a powerflow custom exhaust and the noise started to do your nut in on the motorway!

It is a tad loud on the motorway... bit boomy, but iv got a loud stereo to solve that problem! The TTE was pretty bad actually, so im used to it!

And yes Em... needs a wash! I only did it two days ago! Damn winter weather!

Anyhooo, it looks belting and it's louder than satan farting! Barp!

Yeah, it was £150 all in for the exhaust, mounts, pipework and fitting all of which was done at my excellent local garage. (Alba tyres and Exhausts on Geldard Road - Speak to Tony, he'll sort you out!)

Ryan... i will indeed be deaf before im 30! It's just at 3k revs that it booms, but below that or above it and it's great! The TTE was boomy too though, so it doesn't bother me much really!

Well guys, just got back in! Just to give you a timeframe... I got to Grays at 11:30, went for a spot of lunch in a KFC nearby, left Gray's complete with TTE exhaust at just gone 1... By 2:30, said exhaust was fitted! Just been for a blast down the motorway, makes a nice change from standard, very subtle little grunt when its nice and warm!

Graham, cheers matey! Absolutely fantastic! Also, having seen your new gear up close and personal, i can say it looks and sounds fantastic mate! Really nice job!!!

Now all those who wanted the TTE, please form an orderly queue to beat me about the head with a tyre-iron! :P
