You like? And don't worry, a 30mm drop on TTE's, or Eibach's (which ever is cheaper, as I understand they are the same springs!) is on the way!

I like them!

Looked at them wheels when choosing wheels.

One tip i will give you.... buy some tyre shine (i use turtle wax spray) it makes the wheels look much nicer and newer when the tyre wall looks wet and shiny ;)

Those are very stylish wheels - they really suit the car - VERY GOOD CHOICE!!

Personally I wouldn't bother lowering the car - It looks spot on as it is and if you lower it then you gain extra problems, like need specialist wheel alignment, less ground clearance for speed bumps etc etc

Dont bother lowering it as it looks fine as it is. As for shiney tyres there pointless as it last about 5 minutes and then looks plop, waste of money IMHO

A fine example...

Personally I polish my tires quite often - Turtle wax Extreme trye gel, applied with a toothbrush  it just finishes the car off I think.

Also i'd be very interested in knowing how you get along with lowering your steed as I considered it as well, Just too much of a gap on 17" wheels.

If you buy cheap **** yeah! you pleb. My stuff lasts a week of driving easily... even in bad weather like rain.

If you lower it i guarantee it will look better, handle better and you wont regret it! :D

Don't lower it .. unless you get a camber correction kit.

The problem with mc-phersons is that the angle of the wheel changes and it'll shred the insides of your tyres.

Great for cornering quick, rubbish for straight driving and tyre life.

You can't guarantee anything other than it looking better! For a start he said he is already impressed with its current handling and by lowering it that will change the set up completely, twigs become logs etc. Unless you thrash your car every where the current set up is fine, now we all like to go fast but how often do you drive like that?!?!? For track days Yes but for comfort and general driveability I'd be inclined to go for a very small drop or just save the cash and leave it.

Less of the pleb comments aswell!! Haven't you got some wheels to polish or something!!

Yep, know about that! Someone I work with who frequents LOC (with a rather nicely modified Turbo Altezza / IS200 I have to say) has recommended a place in Leicester that he goes to that can do me a Laser realignment, and Geo check and realignment for a good price, so if I do lower it, I have somewhere to go.

It is all dependant on whether or not I am going to be able to get on to my driveway with it lowered, as I run the risk of grounding myself on a ridge!!

very nice mate , good choice
(and all the other comments like it!)

Thank you :) I wasn't sure when I put them on to start with, but they have really warmed to me. Love 'em now! :)

Thanks! I was tempted by a MkII MR2, but the impracticalities of a two seater for a drummer are just a little too many... Toying with the idea of one as a second car, but can't justify the costs at the minute... Nice car yourself, by the way!
