I am currently selling my MR2 and am looking for a replacement. i love my MR2 but i need to sell it as i'm moving house and need something with a boot!! I have looked around the market trying to think of what to buy and before my MR2 i had a Yaris T-Sport.

I am toying with having another one but.... old model or new??? I would rather have the old T-Sport rather than an 1.3 T-Spirit but isnt there a T-Sport coming out this year??

Does anyone know how much that would be??

A Warwickshire lass hey ;) !

As far as we know there is no OFFICIAL information about there being a new MKII yaris TS being released - however there has been a few bit's and pieces about it **Just search for all the arguing on here lol**

I reackon if it was released I would say they would be around the 15k mark.

You say that you want a car with a boot - then why the yaris?

*Well the old one any way

Have you looked at the Honda Jazz  ?

A Warwickshire lass! I'm one of those too! Whereabouts in Warks are you from mate?

Yaris boot isnt so hot, Corolla boot is massive though - how about a Corolla T-Sport? New Yaris boot is slightly bigger, but if its space you want, you should go for the slightly bigger car!

Ha ha, i'm from good old Bedworth!!!!! I think i have chatted to you before demonic angel, i used to have a blue T-Sport and i'm sure we discussed it.

My old Yaris had a decent boot i think, any boot would do really! I dont have kids or anything, just a LOT of shopping. I'm used to small ish cars and im not sure i fancy a Corolla. I will have about £9.5k to spend and was hoping Toyota would take my car in and i wouldn't have to pay much more for a new one :!Removed!:

I just cannot decide! I have looked at other cars (clio, mini) but i keep coming back to Toyota cos i like them!

The lady in nuneaton toyota said there was a TS coming in this year, £15k is a lot tho i think!

Has anyone bought a new yaris?

hire a van for the move and keep the MR2

upside = keep the mr2, fit all your stuff in the van at once

downside = the £60 a day to hire a van (which is tupence)

The prices for the other yaris models are expensive to IMHO ..... you could get yourself a much better car at that price!

Quite possibly.... you dont get many Warwickshire people on here - I get excited when I see a local!

Toyota are giving out so many mixed messages right now - my dealer in Leicester told me there wasnt going to be one - there is a lot of talk about one, but I doubt it will be til next year now.

It has a lot of stiff competition in the market though - Toyota need to get their act together and release it quick sharpish before they start to alienate potential customers...

Hmm in your situation I'd be more tempted to go for an Old style Yaris, you had one before and obviously liked it..it would keep you ticking over nicely and if you did want to get a new TS then you can when/if the time comes?

I'd be surprised if we even get to see the Mark II Yaris T Sport over here and you could go old and grey waiting for it.

Buy a T Sport (old style) and enjoy. It's a better shape anyway!
