(!) Light Issue

hi all and thanks for any help in advance.

Had an issue with my TSport for the last 3 months over the winter. On a cold morning the (!) light stays on after the handbrake is released. After about 5 minutes driving the light goes out.

When the light is on the brakes are just as sharp as always...

Also if i let the handbrake off before starting the car the light will not come on. The other wierd bit is if I hold the brake pedal down when releasing the handbrake, the light will go out but come back on when the pedal comes up :ffs:

Just replaced front discs and pads all round, fluid levels seem ok and the handbrake doesn't seem to be sticking.

The car is booked into the toyota garage next week, but any thoughts before hand will definately be appreciated. Its a 51 Tsport...

Just gonna add that this was down to the switch on the Master Brake Cylinder. Again cracking service from pioneer park bristol.
